The participation of the live spectators was done through the social networks with a solid and clear mechanic. Thanks to this, #ElGranSecuestro became a successful multiplatform format at its launch: the event became a continuous trending topic. It was among the most talked about topics in the country for four days. On twitter it generated a potential impact of 13.5 million people with more than 25,000 tweets. In addition to this, the Playz account was published and received more than 2.4 million impressions, which was 760% more than any other day.

The conversation, participation in the plot and the extra activity made the leap to YouTube, as viewers commented on what was happening in the rooms and tried to help the kidnap victims. 100,000 views (live and VOD) put an end to this multi-platform event.
