RTVE, in collaboration with Shine Iberia, is preparing ‘La Ruta Morancos’, a new programme starring a very special pair of brothers, much loved by the public. Los Morancos will be the stars of this new format that will arrive soon to RTVE and in which the comedians will travel through several villages of the most rural Spain in a Camino to Santiago with their own stamp. The aim, always in a humorous way, is to leave their legacy and thank all the people who have supported them throughout their career.
On this very special route, César and Jorge Cadaval will set off from their native Seville and stop off in different towns to meet the most endearing and funniest characters. The unpredictable couple will take part in traditional jobs related to livestock, fishing, sowing, harvesting and baking to pay their own particular tribute to the most emblematic neighbours.
The new programme combines docureality with the best of a road trip and the laughs that come with Los Morancos in talk show version. ‘La Ruta Morancos’ will be full of emotions and stories with unforgettable and funny characters in situations that, in many cases, will be tremendously hilarious. Its purpose will be to vindicate the fact that Spain is full of good people who deserve to be known for their solidarity, talent or effort.
Each episode will have a golden brooch: Los Morancos will dedicate a song, in their absolutely inimitable style, which will review their adventures in the town they have visited. In addition, César and Jorge will place a plaque of ‘La Ruta Morancos’ to officially declare that the village is now part of their particular route to Santiago de Compostela.
