The fifth edition of ‘Maestros de la Costura’ is already underway. Lorenzo Caprile, María Escoté and Alejandro G. Palomo return to the workshop accompanied by Raquel Sánchez Silva to find the next master of the needle. They are looking for people who want to take a step forward in their love of sewing and learn from the best professionals in the sector.

The casting of the last edition of the talent show, produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia, ended with a record number of participants. More than 15,000 people registered on the RTVE website with the aim of becoming part of the new batch of apprentices on the programme. This was undoubtedly reflected in the high level of sewing skills of the participants.
Around 1,635,000 viewers on average (14.7% share) followed the final of ‘Maestros de la Costura’ and the average audience for the season stood at 1,336,000 viewers (11.4% share).
Alicia Cao, Rosa León, Joshua Velázquez and Ancor Montaner, the winners of the four editions of ‘Maestros de la costura’, arrived at the workshop with one dream: to make their passion their profession. As a result of their time on the talent show, they and many other apprentices have managed to carve out a niche for themselves in the world of fashion.
