Six young people with intellectual disabilities face their first job in a 5-star hotel, an opportunity to prove their worth and their spirit. With a Smile” is a warm and fun docu-reality, in which six young people with intellectual disabilities will experience something new in their lives: their first job. An opportunity to prove your worth, contribute your spirit and teach your new colleagues your way of seeing and living life. For 6 weeks they will work in a 5-star hotel in different positions: kitchen, pastry shop, reception, banquets and housekeeping. Each one will be received by a hotel worker who will be your teacher and companion. Throughout 13 episodes they will put all their effort into learning a trade and giving both clients and their new colleagues the best of themselves. Each episode will focus on a different challenge: welcoming new guests, setting up a conference room, preparing a new dish, or kneading croissants for the buffet, among others. And, as in all learning, there will be moments of joy and pride, but also of blocks and frustration. “With a smile”, he registers and accompanies 6 people with intellectual disabilities who enter the world of work and who have as much to learn as they have to give. They are the stories of improvement of 6 young people between 18 and 25 years old who will not leave neither the hotel nor their new colleagues unmoved.
