Synopsis

The adaptation of the format ‘Baserria’ that already reaped great success in ETB comes from Shine Iberia. A new reality show for TV3 in which ten farmers will compete to become the best farmer in Catalonia, but they will not do it alone, but will have to pair up with ten urbanites with no experience in the rural world. At the head of this spectacular competition will be the presenter Anna Simon, who will have the help and advice of the jury formed by the Majorcan agroyoutuber Miquel Montoro and Marina Pifarré, a well-known and respected defender of the rural world. They will accompany and advise Anna Simon in the development of the tests of the contest. In addition, each program will have an expert on the theme of the episode, who will assess the contestants’ abilities and alert them to the difficulty of the tasks they have to perform. Each peasant will be paired with an urbanite, forming ten pairs that will be divided into two families: the red and the blue. Together, they will have to overcome incredible physical challenges, testing their skill and endurance. The families will compete to win and sleep inside the farmhouse, the losers will spend the night in a hut located in the middle of the countryside. Not only are their comforts at stake… the losers could be nominated and their permanence in the program will be in danger! A spectacular reality show in which we will return to our roots. The participating farmers must have extensive experience in the rural world. Urban contestants, on the other hand, have little contact with nature and are not used to doing physical labor. The challenges they will face range from moving livestock or building a haystack with their own hands, to harvesting the products of the countryside. The couples, formed by a farmer and an urbanite, will face different tests in which they must demonstrate their skill, understanding and effort. Will they manage to team up and overcome the weekly challenges of ‘El Tros’ to prove that they are capable of becoming the best farmers?
