Generación Porno’ captures the extraordinary testimonies of four families from Catalonia, the Basque Country, and Madrid, consisting of parents and adolescent children. Each episode revolves around a premise that highlights some of the problems, myths, and deficiencies present in today’s sexual education for young people. There will be uncomfortable and amusing moments in which, for example, parents and children will observe on the computer or mobile phone screen the type of content that can be accessed nowadays with just 2 clicks, without any parental control.Each installment of ‘Generación Porno’ raises interesting questions about the porn industry: Why isn’t that content controlled? Why is it free? Why is something fictional presented as reality? Throughout the series, families will engage in conversations with porn actors who will share tricks and techniques used in shoots to stage scenes, attend workshops on prevention and awareness, and participate in meetings with sex addicts, individuals with sexually transmitted diseases, cybersecurity experts, and members of the State Security Forces and Corps involved in the documentary: Mossos d’Esquadra, Ertzainza, and the National Police.Thanks to these experiences, parents and children will find immersive answers to the various themes presented in the documentary. ‘Generación Porno’ witnesses how teenagers openly discuss sex and porn in the presence of their parents, without any taboos, with surprising naturalness and truth. In addition, to understand the current context in which they operate, the documentary also gives prominent presence to the opinions of professionals in the porn and sexual education industry, including actors, directors, producers, distributors, psychologists, sexual therapists, and porn addicts. Revealing data about porn (average consumption hours, number of online porn websites worldwide, or the current revenue of the industry, for example) and very interesting underlying debates emerge from conversations with all of them.
