Resume

Frederic Chopin made his debut as a pianist at the age of 7. At 11, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his first opera, and the dancer Carlos Acosta received the gold medal at the Grand Prix de Lausanne when he was 16. Who will be the next young Spanish prodigy? Twenty-seven great promises, aged 7 to 16, will showcase their talents on “Prodigios,” the musical talent show seeking the greatest Spanish talent in the disciplines of lyrical singing, classical dance, and orchestral instruments.

The candidates will move and astonish with their performances before an exceptional jury, composed of three internationally renowned Spanish artists: the choreographer and former dancer Nacho Duato, the opera singer Ainhoa Arteta, and the orchestra conductor Andrés Salado. The baton of this magnificent show will be wielded by the brilliant presenter and writer Boris Izaguirre, who, with his freshness and spontaneity, will introduce the performances and the jury’s evaluations. Paula Prendes, from backstage, will convey the live experiences and interview the contestants and their families in the minutes leading up to and following their performances.
