- The celebrity version of the design talent will be judged by Palomo Spain, María Escoté and Lorenzo Caprile and there will be a fourth guest judge
RTVE’s Board of Directors has approved at its meeting this Thursday the production of the celebrity version of the design talent show ‘Maestros de la costura’, in collaboration with Shine Iberia.
It will be the first time that celebrities will compete in this La 1 format that supports the fashion and textile industry. The programme will maintain the classic structure of its six editions with anonymous contestants: two set tests plus an outdoor team test.
The talent, in which actors, singers, models and presenters will take part, will also have Palomo Spain, María Escoté and Lorenzo Caprile as judges in this version, and there will always be a fourth guest judge. The judges will also sew in a test, there will be a section with judges in the haberdashery and another in which they will give advice to the participants.
The whole process of making the pieces will be explained with graphics and the recycling of clothes and sustainability will be promoted. All the selected celebrities will have sewing skills and will undergo preparation prior to the recordings. The viewer will be surprised every week with the progress of a cast that will test their skills in the difficult art of design and sewing.
