Synopsis

Marta Crawford has a degree in clinical psychology and is one of Portugal’s most renowned sexologists. She is a constant presence on various TV shows when it comes to sex.

In 100 Taboos, Marta will demystify the biggest prejudices and ideas surrounding sex, sexual behavior and love over the course of several shows. The lack of scientific knowledge and the popular imagination have, over time, created a series of ideas that have crystallized as absolute truths, forming myths and prejudices related to certain subjects that are passed down from generation to generation. These myths cause trauma and prevent people from living happily and without guilt. Marta will go out into the street and create gatherings on unexpected topics, with unexpected people. In a country setting, she meets a group of forcados at a training session and talks to them about sexual performance… is virility synonymous with good sex? Sex, chastity, homosexuality, masturbation, virility, fidelity… in each program a different topic, in a different environment and with different protagonists.

It’s a 30-minute talk-show, in which the intimate atmosphere is enriched with street plays, such as interviews, voxpop, environments. The aim is to enlighten, demystify and inform viewers about various sexuality issues in a relaxed, fun and interactive way.
